Repair shop software in practice
Self-hosted repair shop software or cloud?
RepairWizard is available as a cloud service and as standalone software on your own computer or server. The choice mainly concerns deployment and responsibility for maintenance, rather than the appearance of the dashboard.
Cloud: start in your browser
Create a workshop and use the application over the internet. You do not need to install the server application or update it yourself. Starter is free and includes one owner account and up to 200 repair jobs per month. Pro and Ultra expand limits and modules, with automatic backups described in the pricing section. Each workshop uses a separate SQLite database.
Standalone: your own installation and database
Store the application and database on your own infrastructure. You manage installation, updates, access permissions and backups yourself. This option suits workshops that want control over their deployment and can maintain it. If the server is accessible from the internet, secure access and server configuration are part of that responsibility.
What to decide before choosing
Check how many people will use the system, how they will connect from other devices and who will create and restore backups. Running your own server does not replace a backup. Explore the cloud edition in the demo, or ask about standalone setup and terms through the contact form. Data export is available from the application.
